Generator Radiator Scale

During the diesel generator working, scale will be generated in the radiator. If scale is too much, debris will block the radiator, and it is easy to ignite incorrectly, which will cause the generator to overheat and decrease the thermal conductivity, which will directly affect the heat dissipation effect reduce the service life of the diesel generator.

So we should remove these scales in time, so how did these scales come from?

A certain amount of coolant will be lost during the cooling system operation, and it is necessary to add water to the cooling system in time. If not add coolant or distilled water, but directly add hard water, the calcium and magnesium ions in the hard water can easily form scale with the inorganic salt in the ordinary coolant.

The silica scale mainly comes from the silicate in the inorganic coolant. Metal fouling is mainly iron fouling and soldering tin fouling. The former is mainly formed by the inorganic salt in the ordinary inorganic coolant, and the protective film formed by the reaction of the iron metal on the cylinder body is formed due to consumption and shedding, while the latter is formed by the strong oxidizing inorganic salt corrosion inhibitor, which intensifies the solder. Fluffy sediment formed by blooming.

Therefore, if the cooling system needs to add water, can not add tap water directly but coolant or distilled water is required.
